The Chinese curse that verifies itself more and more as time goes by. Yes, we live in interesting times. We live in times when everything just falls apart...
Greece just keeps falling apart, and sure is sad to watch... Labour rights are falling apart, being weakened by high unemployment. Our interesting times help the rise of extremists and extremities and widen the gap between the elite and the poor.
We also live to see people fighting, demanding, though not with hope, but frustration! Frustration for failing systems, frustration for failing promises, frustration for all the wrong and rights, for they don't matter anymore!
The Chinese curse is here to haunt us, and make us wonder... Will these interesting times come to an end? And if so... which end? Will they to worsen and become more distressing, or become... less-interesting times...
It might just be that we should hope we live through these interesting times...
