Bloggers need hope

It's been a while since I wrote last. It's been a while for various reasons, reasons we tell ourselves to comfort our bloggers block.

Truth is, it's been a while cause there was no inspiration. There is nothing going on. Our close neighbours are revolting, Japan is falling apart, the "allies" have found a new war, but here... here in this forsaken island, there is nothing going on.

Even though people lose their jobs everyday and racism is growing strong; even though corruption is loudly portrayed and abstention from the elections is a fact... still... there is nothing going on.

There is frustration, repetition, stagnation and pessimism where used to be inspiration, new ideas, progress and hope.

There is nothing going on...

But if you look under the facade, if you look at the basement, things are going on. There's a Buffer zone Blogger weekend at the end of April. I'm hoping it will help us with our bloggers block. I hope it will give some inspiration.

I guess it already did one thing. It made me hope.

  1. Thanks for your encouraging words dear Natassa!! We'd love to have you with us at the Buffer Zone Bloggers weekend!! We believe that hope is everywhere, especially "at the basement", and that change is slow but certain :) See you soon :)

  2. I think that "change" is a word not existent into our "rulers" dictionary! It's included in their vocabulary but they do not understand what it means :)
